Dman
@Mark W ice tech or non ice tech, that is the question?
Mark W
The stiffness/longevity of the Icetech rotors is a f**king win. They just don't bend, and last for forever.
Dman
Cool, thanks @Mark W I just ordered the mt5's, 203 ice tech's and hope mounts. £165 all in. I will try with standard organic pads then upgrade to trialtech if i dont like them. Edited April 14, 2016 by Dman

Mark W
In fairness, if you've got some spare Shimano levers you could pop on if needs be you could always freestyle it a bit in terms of modding your MT5 levers to get them working a little better. Stuff like taking the pivot out and drilling it to try and put a bigger, beefier pivot in there and stuff like that might be worth a go if you find you have any issues with them as standard.
dk2
+1 on the Ice rotor's been running them front and back(180mm) for a year and a half now, no issues so far...
