ogre Posted April 7, 2016 Report Share Posted April 7, 2016 evening tf; I have some trialtech disc forks with +20 IS disc tabs, I run a hope tech caliper (post mount jobby), I currently have a 203mm rotor all up in that front end. which IS-PM caliper do I need to have no washers or bodge-jobbery on my front end please? further more I have this lever and today the 'M3*6MM' bolt decided to vacate the lever. I'm confident this is the one that I want to replace it with. besides bolting it back in are there any other small parts I should be checking aren't missing? i'm not familiar with these levers so it'd be handy not missing something. and should I need to re-bleed the brake? Mark W Posted April 8, 2016 Report Share Posted April 8, 2016 Ali had that same stop plate bolt issue with his Trial Zone. It was while we were in Barca, and he just stole one of my reservoir cap bolts. It worked fine - there's nothing that can really happen without you noticing fluid gushing out or anything, so you can just replace the bolt and you're set. There isn't really an adaptor that would work perfectly. If you went Hope you'd just need an Adaptor F with a spacer under the caliper. It's just that extra 1.5mm that does it basically - if you can track down a Front 185mm adaptor (I guess an old SRAM one?) you could use that and just deal with there being marginally less pad contact on the rotor, but the adaptor + spacer method would probably be easiest.
