cleep2
Was just wondering if anyone has any idea if it's possible to bleed up a Magura mt7 caliper on to a racingline lever or any other Magura hs33 orientated lever for that matter? Thanks , Will
Mark W
Theoretically yes (same fluid type so wouldn't be an issue with seals), but the difference in piston sizes from the standard MT7 lever to a rim brake lever would make it not really ideal. ben_travis
Would the ratio mean extra lever pull or less? More pad clearance? Edited April 1, 2016 by ben_travis
Mark W
To quote Ali C in a similar topic before, it means the brake's underpowered and the lever feels rock solid apparently. I think you'd possibly get more pad clearance (although it'd be marginal as I think my MT7 pistons tend to sit relatively far back into the calipers anyway?), but it wouldn't be worth it for the lack of power.

cleep2
Thanks for the help, guessing if the lever felt solid it would mean that the brake would not be as powerful as there is less leverage?
