87Monty
I have sent a e-mail to Continental germany if they will begin to make tires for 19 or\and 20 rims to with the black chili compound. i would love if they made a tire in blackchili compound, that is hell of sticky and soft,, speacially on my 26" baron mtb tires. Mark W
Bit more info on these tyres now we've got them in: - Weight on the one I weighed earlier was 718g, so lighter than the random claimed weight from before. - Compound appears to be 52a, so the same as the Pro Race. - Carcass size is the same as the Pro Race, with the tyre coming in at 67mm wide and 61mm tall. It's basically a Pro Race with what I'd say was a slightly better tread pattern. I've always preferred wider spaced blocks, and you get them with it. The larger central blocks are siped too so should move around a little better on the carcass itself. Basically, it's just a good tyre. They're £35 so cheaper than the Monty and OBR tyres too.

SamKidney
Need 24" dedicated trials tyre. At least the for the rear. 19" have plenty of choice. Genok, Echo, Maxxis, both Monty tyres, Try-All where available... The schwalbes for 24" are crap, Maxxis super tacky swampthings and high rollers are getting thin on the ground. I can imagine the Continental would fair all too amazingly in a muddy comp.
Mark W
Can tell when you're riding again when whenever we post a photo of a tyre you request someone makes it in 24"

It is going to get harder and harder to find newer tires on the 26 inch wheels. Even Continental does not offer their top Black Chilli compound for the 26 inches for many of their tires.
