SamKidney
Utterly shattered, but so glad I made the trip! Best £50 I've spent in a long time. Looking forward to seeing some photos.

Mark W
Fun day was fun. Loved how the moment it started sleeting/raining it seemed like everyone fully wanted to get out there and scrabble around for some grip. Good to meet everyone, play around in different cars and generally chat shit. Need to do it again
MadManMike
Such an epic day! Was so grateful for my chauffeur driving me home too Haha. Thanks Everyone for coming Cheers for organising it mate, Jimmy said to say thanks too. Fun day was fun. Loved how the moment it started sleeting/raining it seemed like everyone fully wanted to get out there and scrabble around for some grip. Good to meet everyone, play around in different cars and generally chat shit. Need to do it again That little 5 swap we did was interesting. Your seating felt uber low, like I was a child trying to see over the steering wheel haha. Fair play on the cornering too, go hard or go home!
Mark W
Yeah, that foamectomy does lower it a bit but it's mainly the extra side support you get from the back part that's the winner. You can theoretically do one bit without the other if you wanted to - slipping that back section out is the easiest part, so if you still want to have that sweet booster seat effect but with a little more side support you could. And cheers, that's the benefit of not worrying about a car too much - curbs schmurbs Can guarantee I wouldn't have been doing that in the Porsche! MadManMike
I wasn't so much concerned for my car, it was more the fact it handles like a boat and I had genuine concerns that it was going to roll haha I know it wouldn't, but my brain was telling me not to risk it
Azarathal
Brilliant day! Thanks Dan for organising it, I think the wet laps were my favourite for certain reasons

Duncy H
I have the day off work tomorrow and the forcast says thunderstorms so looks like I'll have a full day of editing photos tomorrow. Only just got in because my route home was via the pub Thanks for a great day out, thanks to Adam for letting me have a few laps and making me want to own an mx5 again. Thanks to dan for sorting it it all out. If I can be available for the next time I'll be sure try to get some wheels that aren't pressed into the ground by 2.5 tonnes of pick up truck. Ive got loads of various photos of everyone from today, after deleting a bunch I still have a thousand to go through...

Tom Booth
STOP SHOWING ME MX5. It's silly how much I want one but will need to remove the best part of my legs to even contemplate fitting in one
MadManMike
How tall are you, Tom? I'm 6ft 2 and very comfortably fit in my mk1.
AdamR28
Add a foamectomy... Stan fits in his fine at 6ft3 and huge gangly legs.
Mark W
Continuing in the height shit, I'm 6'1"-ish and can wear a helmet in mine with the roof up so there's a decent amount of clearance with the aforementioned foamectomy. Super easy to do too, and makes them feel quite a bit nicer. Was weird sitting in the standard seats in Mike's after having had mine cut down as soon as I got my car. Was interesting being driven/driving Haz's'ssz'zsz Clio yesterday too. First time I've been a in a FWD car that wasn't a generic run of the mill family hatchback/saloon, feeling the difference in dynamics (or whatever you'd call it) at different parts of corners was cool. The feel/way you drive them isn't really my thing, but I can see how that whole point-and-squirt go-kart setup would be fun once you were more used to it.
