robkerly
anyone had experience with the atomlab g.i 24inch rims? with spanks hard or impossible to find at the moment, are they a worthy alternative? they are cheap and shiny, which is great, but only if they can take a pounding. cheers rob

Mark W
Which Spank rims were you looking for?
LEON
I just sold a bike with Atomlabs on, they're definitely more than strong enough, but Spanks are definitely lighter and look cooler. I never weighed them but I've read a few times that Atomlabs aren't very light. Get any Spanks if you can.
robkerly
cheers for the input guys. i think the weight difference is about 150gms per rim, which is fairly significant. spanks are definately top of my wish list, and well worth the prices, i just dont quite have the funds
robkerly
@mark, not sure to be honest, only ever been up close and personal lacing 26 and 650 spank rims, but am in awe of their quality and strength.
Mark W
Fair enough - was going to say we've got pretty good stock of the Subrosa Evo 24" rims, but I wasn't sure if you were hoping to find a different model. That bikelaedle (can never remember the spelling) place in Germany seem to do a wider range, although I think their stock is gradually depleting.
