Greetings
Amazing athletically but exactly why trials is so unappealing to the public. It's just a guy jumping really high who happens to have a bike attached to him. The bike needs to be rolling to justify the point of using it. Merely an observation. Arnt you bored of watching people bust out back flips on a trials forum?
Mark W
In fairness, he does do an absolutely horrifying looking roll-down to manual push-through thing that you wouldn't really see many riders do these days. The wrong way sidehop/up to front thing where he stalled it on the front wheel for half an hour was boss.

I kinda agree with this, videos like this just are not appealing to the public they're not even appealing to me! We need more videos like the CLS videos aggressive riding and music coupled with that personality all videos like that have! Very skilled rider though! AndyT
Insanely skilled rider, would be fun to watch in public. Does nothing for me to watch it, I don't need backflips or spins but I do enjoy a bit of flow in between moves.

jeff costello
great video! one of my favourite riders right now. was he one the riders in the china video of the famous one (was it coustellier? can't remember). there's quite a few asian guys with great videos and skills on youtube lately. i find his landscapes infinitely more interesting than any bucolic crap that confuses bike videos with tourism commercials. absence of ballet moves and a Mogwai soundtrack is always an extra plus point. onzatpro09
This is seriously good and all, but personally I would like to watch the insane flow and smoothness of the likes of Ali C, Aaron Browne, Ben Travis etc. over this fairly repetetive beast-moding. The basis of trials is getting through the environment without dabbing, in which case this guy straight up wins. However I don't really mind who can sidehop the highest, it's all about being smooth. I've said it before, but I don't care if someone is going up a 6 inch or 6 foot wall as long as it is silky smooth, and nobody is beating the aforementioned in the smooth department. Just my thoughts
Paperclip
Some of those moves are stupidly big, I love his right way sidehops to two hes got so much power coming from somewhere. I'd watch more of him riding its just a different style to trials in my eyes and hes clearly one of the best at how he rides.
Ross McArthur
I love watching guys like him go big. Mainly because I can watch it over and over to see how he does things. How does he preload? How does he tuck? What wheel lands first bla bla bla? Some might say it doesn't matter how big he goes but to me it does. Reason being, the bigger he can go, usually, more line possibilities open up. If he can hop up a 6" wall smoothly, good on him but he's going to be very limited to what he can ride. If he can hop a road side rail, it opens up so many more interesting lines.
Greetings
Other things aside, we really need a Youku trials video thread. Youtube is banned in China so they use their own service. Their own content aside, a lot of european trials vids end up there for the Chinese riders to watch.
valk
Keep in mind this video is not meant to lure new viewers into becoming trials riders, it's just to show his trials riding skills to trials riders, as 99% of videos are. Pít
I'm a huge fan of his riding so I'm glad he appeared here. Luckily you can find a bunch of videos here:https://vimeo.com/user13362142/videos and here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUjmv0T_zqIcojcF_3yZQqA and here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXvpbBfOtLb-E38Z823lrNw/videos?view=0&shelf_id=0&sort=dd and here: http://i.youku.com/u/UMzUyNTMwNjI0 My personal favourite is the DEA one in the vimeo channel.
