Macca88
Just picked up a Onza Pro and figured I'd post on here to say hi. Haven't done trials for about 10 years so figured I'd buy myself a mod to mess about on in my free time. One quick question, well the white on my rims come off if I run a rear hydraulic rim brake? Dman
Welcome back, yes more than likely it will come off, you will probably end up grinding anyway, so no problem, no one's arsed about stuff like that in trials, it won't de value it or anything. ooo
Welcome back dude! and +1 for grinding the rim, not worth the pain of a brake slip.

Macca88
Thanks guys, appreciate the replies. Grinding the rim is a new one on me, but I understand why it's done. I quite like the idea of my rims staying white and running a disc brake would allow that but I can't get out of my head that a disc on the back just won't quite do the job, and research on here is a mind field in terms of what disc brakes are worth using and what aren't. I'm going to run hydraulic brakes either way as I don't like cable brakes. ooo
disc on the back is definitely good too, but I don't know which one either, put a post in trials chat and someone will tell you the popular ones. The search on here isn't working properly.
Macca88
Thamks again. Been doing some reading this evening and think that I'm going to have a go with the Magura MT2s, everyone seems to speak highly of them Macca
