24" tyres

I used Maxxis Holy Rollers on my 24" build a couple of years ago, but I wasn't very impressed as they were not grippy enough and they were too thin so I was forced to run higher tyre pressure. Unfortunately there are not many options for 24" bikes, which is a pity.

You don't really need any with the Conti tyres around - they're easily the best tyres out there at the moment.  For street stuff I'm not sure there's much I'd really change about them, and even for more trialsy stuff they seem good too.  Got a surprising amount of grip and a decent casing.

Don't you find that feels like shit for carving into stuff though?  On both my BMX and my 24 (same thing lololol) I found that if my front tyre was narrower than the rear it meant that my bike generally handled weirdly (i.e. not nicely) when going into spins/turns.

Oh, and yes to that Alastair.

I wanted the continental when i was building my bike but they are sooo expensive...so i decided to get the maxxis, im quite happy with them... They flex a lot but i think that's about the shit Ozonys rims...

Seem to remember the Ozonys rims are pretty narrow so that won't help.  When I had Holy Rollers on 40mm Spank rims they were OK, but on 35mm rims (and Subrosas when I briefly ran them) they folded a lot more and generally didn't feel as good.  I went from 40mm to 35mm rims with my Contis and they seemed to deal with both pretty well.

Na, can't say I've noticed that as a problem. I don't think I carve that much anyway.

Motos over Holy Rollers? Trolololololololololol

Yes, hands down, much better. :)

Do you still ride? Trolleylollylolly

I ride enough to know what a shit tyre feels like ;)

Diggers and RTs were both a pile of wank, hence why I switched out to Holy Rollers circa 2011. I somehow can't imagine there's been a huge improvement since I last enjoyed foldy sidewalls and pinch flats.

Conti would be my first choice but if you're looking to spend a little less, the dmr Moto Rt tyres are pretty good. 2.4 rear and 2.2 front should do the trick.

This is correct. Moto RT's are such a good cheap tyre, granted the Conti's will be better but RT's shit all over Holy Rollers.
