Trialsrider28
Hi all, just joined up but been looking around this site for a while. Anyway after having my Fourplay for a couple of years and doing a fair amount of research I've bit the bullet and bought myself an inspired Arcade. After reading nothing but positives about them I felt I had made a great decision but I am struggling to get on with it and frustration is really starting to kick in. I'm not totally blaming the bike as I'm well aware it could be something I'm doing but I'm looking for some suggestions to help me out possibly from other people who have moved to an Arcade or ride arcades. I've rode it for about 10 hours or so and I'm still having to adjust the chain after every ride, is this normal? I'm really struggling with rolling moves. Pedaling up and hopping up is proving to be a huge issue, I wasn't having any problems on the fourplay. I thought it was maybe a bar angle issue, I read on here about having the bars in line with the forks which I did and it hasn't really helped. I'm just over 6 feet tall and running standard stackers and stem. I'd say my the arcade bars sit 20mm higher than the setup on mu old bike. I've resisted jumping back on my old bike as the arcade is just a fabulous piece of kit but to be honest I'm a bit stuck now and desperately want to get back to enjoying my riding. Thanks
dk2
HIproberly your chain is streching a bit, should go away after a few rides. (which chain is it?). if not check your chain tensioner's .I always check them after the hub is thightend down..(my rear wheel never moves..)im comming from a bmx back ground and the arcade just fit me perfect...Ive had Hex,and fourplay before the arcade and like them all..but the arcade is just top mint for me..If i where youi would give it some time..what stem/bars are you using ? maybe a pic could help me give you advise on bike setup./stefan
