Sam Song
This is probably my 4th pair that this happened to. I do normally switch to a tracksuit, but sometimes I would just go for a short ride without having to change, and this kind of shit happens. I do know of some people who only ride in jeans. If you are one of them, how do you do it? Do you never open your legs when you ride? Lol.
ooo
Im the same, just keep buying new jeans. Buying strecthy jeans helps though, and dont tumble dry them either.
onzatpro09
I have never had a pair split at the crotch, mainly just from pedal related things. My general rule is that if I can do a squat with keys in my pocket and have them not dig in too much, then they're good to ride in
JJ Leigh
I can ride in jeans totally fine, giving they're not being worn like kanye west and they never seem to rip If anything mine rip through pedals hitting my legs, maybe get a slightly looser pair? valk
Not so tight and buy the stretch/elastic ones, try out if you can do squats and how much can you open your legs. You can't ride with EVERY jeans =P just try out which ones work for you. I ride only with jeans unless it's burning hot in here, never had issues. Mark W
Cheap, shit jeans tend to have pretty bad cuts/fit so you'll get more restricted movement in them. Getting jeans with a higher elastane content is a winner too (any at all is handy).
Jamie_Trials
I never have problems riding with them, I think to do with my genes

HarryBradbury
I think NEXT do a pair of jeans with a fair bit of elastic, never had jeans do that before, normally I just shred the knee's from OTB's

Sam Song
I am planning on buying a matching top and bottom tracksuit for my riding.Any recommendations?Preferrably something stylish that girls like Edited September 26, 2015 by Sam Song
AndeeeMK2
I find it virtually impossible to ride in jeans too much restriction and a lot of chafe. Tracksuit bottoms, joggers, shorts, or shorts and leggings work best for me.
Sponge
Levi's 511s might fit the bill? Slim but not skinny, quite similar fit to the ones in the OP. They have elastane in them so they've been nothing short of excellent for riding, doing stretches, practicing high kicks and things of that nature. No problems with rips or coming apart at the seams after 3 years. They're smart and are a common model in skate shops so they're worth trying on next time you head into town. joaovidal12
How? I just put them on.Not skinny jeans, not baggy jeans. Just a normal, straight cut will do for me.

i_wanna_trials
I remember trying to ride in full length jeans once and found it impossible because they kept coming down or I couldn't move very much. I ride in 3/4 length jeans so they are nice and loose and easy to move in, all summer I'll ride in 3/4 lengths admittedly my shins don't love me for it but oh well.
