isitafox
Has anyone on here ever had anything to do with the Open University? Just wondered as I've signed up to a course which, I hope, will lead to a degree. Going to do Bsc (hons) Sports, Fitness and Coaching over 6 years, this all depends on if I can get myself qualified as a gym instructor by year 4 however but I'm confident that I'll be able to push myself to achieve it. No real point behind any of it other than to give me something to do, always useful to have a backup career should something go wrong! Muel
Mum did it, it's extremely hard work to do a full time job, be a parent and get a degree at the same time.
*gentlydoesit
My missus has done a few.. same sentiment as above. On a side note though, she had a problem with one company (ics) not singing from the same hym sheet as the awarding body. Resulted in a £450 course and 18 months of hard work being an absolutely pointless exercise. (Cba to elaborate) I'm sure that type of thing doesn't happen often but probably worth knowing what everyone involved wants from you before you commit.
