AdamR28
Thanks guys - just a heads up that the training day is now full. We have had a good response to this and want to make sure we can get round everyone! Cheers, Adam
Ross McArthur
Thats good to hear. I was worried that no one was coming after that email from BTF. Why the scaremongering Babs?
Mark W
Maybe to try and get people signed up earlier so they can get all the admin stuff done?
AdamR28
We were only at 3 with less than a month to go, then another 20 signed up within a few weeks! And yes, getting admin done in advance will really help. Hopefully a few of those going to the training will stick around for the national, too

BikeTrial Federation
Hi Ross Scare-mongering? ... up to this time last week we had received about 3 entries and was worried that we would have to cancel for the first time ever! Pleased to say that we're now well-subscribed ... I've received 10 entries just today! Seriously though, people are just leaving entering events later and later - it happened with the recent Tykes event too that all the entries came in in the last couple of days. We REALLY do need to know sooner as it does take a lot of planning, organisation and obviously cost! Play fair lads - support the events and get entries in as soon as you possibly can. Great to hear that the training day is fully subscribed too Barbara
Ross McArthur
Great! They must have seen this topic and signed straight up!
AdamR28
Last-minute entries are a nightmare, agreed!
Ross McArthur
Weather has been great up here for the past few days and is set to be good for the weekend. The trials park is mingin in the wet so it'll be great to have some dry conditions up there for once. There was a moto comp there a couple of weeks back and Iain (the park designer/brain child) had set up a fake water fall on one of the stages. Might make things interesting for us if its still there. Make sure and have plenty of spare change kids to hand to try out the delicious cakes in the porta'cafe!
BikeTrial Federation
Can't wait for those cakes Well, after all my worrying, we have the second highest pre-entry this year so it should be a good weekend. We can still accept entries on the day so it could even end up being the biggest event this year - just hope the weather stays good! See you all there. AdamR28
Great stuff, that's good to hear Had a load more calls this morning asking about the training, trials riders and their mums & dads must be the most last-minute people on the planet Shows there is interest though, so we would definitely like to do the same thing again and tie it in with a competition, like this time.

kevind
Brilliant day and the sun shone. Hope everybody had a good time and enjoyed the variety of sections that this great venue offers. Swiggys cakes and food were up to the usual standards. Big thanks to Adam and Stan for running the Saturday give it a go day and from that, the Scottish club has gained a few new younger riders, so thanks from the Scottish club. It is a fantastic way to introduce new riders to the sport and I hope you can find the time to do more around the nationals.
