littlekarlypilkboid
Hi all So in the process of swapping bits over from a t rex frame to a GU Typhoon frame. The stem on the t rex is a very short one and with the BB being much higher +80 i believe? the bars are way to close. Whats the standard length stem or one that would be recommended? I know a lot of it is down to personal riding style. I reckon a 120mm? I'm about 6 foot tall with a fairly long arm reach.
bing
Trialtech 130x25, or if your reach is huge , any 150x30 and some decent highrise bars, again trialtech or jitsie
Paperclip
What year GU? I would say you're not far off with a 120, Trialtech do some good low rise 26" stems that are more suited to that sort of frame. The 130/150 stems are for newer style frames like the new GU and such with a shorter reach (bb to headset length).
