jeff costello
yeah, i guess here (german speaking world) people would mostly associate it with mtv and/ or car tuning.
AndeeeMK2
I like where Crewkerz are going with Trials bikes in terms of modernisation and building them like modern mountain bikes i.e. the bb/crank set up, tapered forks the wheel axles etc. (Which makes it such a tough build) I have had a go on a Cleep 1 & 2 and i really liked how stiff the bike was and the fact it was built like a brick shit house. Loved the chain tensioning system it gets a thumbs up from me! (Not to keen on the snail cam design) Would be cool if you could buy them as some form of frame kit however a few of components wouldn't be compatible with their kit. Am riding a Koxx Sky 3 at the moment which i really like but if i was to upgrade id splash the cash and try out a crewkerz. Interesting to see the Jealousy in the flesh and am also waiting for further news on the Cleep 3 if they are still going ahead with it. Whilst on topic of bike names i would say Cove win on this.... jeff costello
yes, but that's ironic / catering to the worst kind of people. while the crewkerz names seem to be just unfortunate. Edited July 31, 2015 by jeff costello

Yeah, I rode the Cleep for a moment and my initial thought was blimey this bike is stiff. The friend who owned it previously had an Atomz and I remember my reaction to that was identical. Apparently the two companies have a lot in common
Mark W
If we're talking the worst innuendo-based names, 24Bikes have that one nailed. The Porn King frame, the Cock Ring seat clamp - I regret that they were all ordered via the internet rather than by phone. One of the best things about working at TartyBikes was getting quiet, polite mums phoning up to order some Gusset b*****d grips.
p_ruskin
You guys seem to be the only people moving trials forward. As for the name, trials has been littered with some terrible branding in the past and this isn't any way near the worst I've seen. If its a top quality pure trials bike you're after you may as well just get over it and buy one as you'll struggle to find anything better on sale at the moment. Plus, i'd say the reasons for the low sales in the UK is because the scene is near enough dead as appose to people not being fond of the names. That said, I'm not sure i would ever buy any '#hashtagg' parts purely because of embarrassment. It's not exactly subtle either with the brand name plastered on any and every blank space available.

dngr2self
I doubt anyone's not gonna but 1 because of the name. Anyway I want to know more about Mark being asked to piss on someone.
Mark W
I was having a breather having just been riding a spot on the seafront and this dude came up to me. Started chatting, then casually dropped out "I met someone here, I gave him a tenner and he pissed all over me." Then he just paused and kind of waited for me to say something. I was kind of shocked as the conversation had suddenly take a swift left turn from the usual "Hi, how's it going" type shit randomers come up to you and say, and sensing that he followed it up with a "Different people like different things, you shouldn't judge them." He came out with some other weird shit as well, but the "gave him a tenner and he pissed all over me" line kind of f**ked my ability to really remember much beyond that point. It was a little while ago now as well. Moving back up near there again though so maybe I'll have to go hang out in Blackpool again for a bit and see if I can negotiate a better rate. At the moment I'm literally just pissing money away.

stirlingpowers
So there will be a Crewkerz Carbon fork?
Mark W
Looks like it. Quite like the way the fork is flush with the frame. Hearing the word "Vacay" in that song made me want to break things.
stirlingpowers
That is the first carbon fork alu frame combo to look coherent. Well done. "Coming out" will feed the OTN troll horde just nicely.
Robin M S/c
Jack had the carbon forks on his bike at Sunday's National Trial in Scotland. They look really good with some nice features. He said they were really stiff.

Rusevelt
Judging by the comments, a few of us here have had a seek peek on Crewkerz Facebook. Edited August 24, 2015 by Rusevelt
Mark W
Yet no-one seems to be mentioning the elephant in the room: Has anyone ever seen Hannes Hermann and Ryan Leech in the same place together? I'll answer that for you - it's "No", because they're the same person.
Ross McArthur
Haha. Don't think you can hide behind that chin strap of a beard, Ryan.

Greetings
Have to say that the marketing of this frame is epic. Even the controversy surrounding the name is good.
TRA
People, its a name, yes i dont think its a good name, but why even care , only the performance and some looks actually count. And crewkerz are good bikes working hard to innovate, its a good thing. How about the name aluminium, thatd be a conversation starter between uk and usa Maybe just give up on the naming and go all out like, "f**king awesome". Ever ridden that f**king awesome bike?
Mark W
If they went with "f**king Awesome" they'd get a cease and desist from f**king Awesome:
