Herbertlemon102
I dont need the disc mount or the like to work (brakeless, Wahey) I've been saving up to buy one but I'm put off by whether I can or not. Frame is a Limey 320, pictured

A.Baxter
I'm sure hope make a smaller spaced hub now if that's any help ?
aener
I'm sure hope make a smaller spaced hub now if that's any help ? They do, but it's BMX style 9t driver, or 6-bolt sprocket driver (minimum 15t) only

trialsbikingnunn
I'm presuming it's not an 80t though its not but i dont see the need in an 80t one, ive been running my standard one which isnt even an evo hub for well over 2 years and its been perfectly fine with plenty of engagements
aener
Have you used an 80ep version? As you say, there's nothing wrong with the old ones, but the difference is definitely there
trialsbikingnunn
yeah i have, its louder but i dont feel like id need more engagements than ive already got
Mark W
I was in a similar situation but found that the 80-click version was noticeably 'nicer' to use. When you preload or go to put down power it's always ready to go, whereas with the older hubs it sometimes feels like it sort of clunks into place. That said, the older versions are still really good, but the new ones are just that bit nicer.
Herbertlemon102
After speaking to euan, it's not possible. I don't know much about hub modification so I'm going with what he says! Apparently there's not enough on the hub to manage it
weirdoku
Just buy a sprocket, fixed hub and FFW and be done with it.

weirdoku
Them 320 frames are 110mm at the rear, you can cram in a 116mm hub but it ain't nice to.
jeff costello
bummer. i was thinking about asking to get in on the deal, because i have an unused almost brandnew hope rear too.
trialsbikingnunn
yeah but mine is already cut down to mod spacing

Herbertlemon102
Just buy a sprocket, fixed hub and FFW and be done with it. I have that, but after trying a few pro2 it feels much better, so that's what I want.or buy the one i have? i know its 116mm spacing and not a 80t hub but it will fit in your frame, it will be a tight squeeze but it will fitsorry dude, id like a new one. I used to have a 116 Hub but the frame stretch and the way the hub would squirm means I wouldn't want to do it again
DYAKOV
What about those profile hubs? Don't know how they are regarding sprocket sizes and engagement points but many people use them for trials too so they should be fine, no?
jeff costello
profiles would be awesome, but only come in 36h and there aren't any trials rims in 32h.
Dman
They do the 204 engagement single speed hubs in 32h
jeff costello
but those aren't 110mm, are they?
Dman
No but you said they only come in 36h is what I was getting at.
jeff costello
since this thread is about, i thought it was obvious i was only talking about 110mm ones. profile make a shitload of hubs in who the hell knows how many holes versions. there also might be 36h trials rim out there somwhere. but there are hardly and i'd rathr not drop €200 on a hub with such limited options for rims.
