DYAKOV
Hi folks, I have a pair of yellow heatsink pads with plastick backings which have some serious cracks on them. There's still a decent amount of material left and am wondering if I can take the refills out and put them in some metal backings.. Is it possible and does anyone know a way to do so? Cheers, Nasco
niconj
Put into oven, heat up to around 150°C, get them out with some gloves on.
DYAKOV
Is that not going to affect the material as well?
niconj
Haven't had any problems with this. Trialtech pads basically fall out of the backing when doing this. Edited July 21, 2015 by niconj
