Mark W
Bit of a random thread but hey ho - does anyone know what the riding is like in/around Tunbridge Wells?
chris72
There's a good natural section called wellington rocks there
N.Wood
Yeah wellington and toad rocks, Scott Wilson has done a couple of vids there, as has Rich Pearson I believe. EDIT: Found one by Scott called 'Wellington Hoe' but I can't copy and paste for some reason.
JD™
Not too far from me Mark, if you fancy a pedal whenever you're there?
isitafox
The only thing I think of when I hear the name Tunbridge Wells is antique based programme on the BBC!
Mark W
Yeah, that was my initial impression too. There's potentially a job there that I think I could smash multiple levels of shit out of, but before applying I wanted to know if moving there would mean that there was nothing to ride. I guess there are other places that I would assume are better nearby, but moving somewhere with no riding would be poop. Thanks for the info though dudes
LEON
I've been round there a few times, being a trials rider I was just looking out for walls and rails while driving, first impression's not great but there might be some bits hidden away, other than that it doesn't look like a brilliant place to ride. Wellington rocks are cool but but it depends what you're into, rocks aren't my thing.

old boy chez
I have riden there a few times when I use to work over there . But I had a guide when I was there so I could not tell you where all the places are but it was good from what I remember
N.Wood
Not tooo far from brighton and surrounding areas and not tooo far from London. You could shred Croydon! I used to go there to ride all the time, and my mates ex missus lived there. It is indeed a nice part of the world. Penshurst off road club (PORC) is like 20 mins from there at a guess? Some good dirt jumps and dh / dual tracks there. Also a bit of natural, my first ever essex comp was held there back in like 2004 or so. Skoze
Brighton is the worst place to ride ever, but the new Level is pretty sweet for skatepark fun time. If you do move, homie gon' visit.
Mark W
This is tempting. Salary is "DOE" so it'd all kind of depend on what they were saying about that, and indeed if they even wanted me. Maybe time to get a CV together... Thanks for all the info dudes
