ItsMatt
Looks mean but the whole idea of a king on a fully carbon bike just feels like a sin

p_ruskin
Grind your rims and the cranks won't stand out as much. Looks sweet either way if you ask me.
bing
Don't grind. It looks amazing like that. Was it a Chris king bmx hub?
jeff costello
why would a bmx hub have to be modified?
monkeyseemonkeydo
Because Monty frames are 110mm spaced and Chris King hubs are 116mm.
jeff costello
but those are weirdo sizes, aren't they?
bing
Monty frames have the snail cams on the outside do they not? Hence the 110mm spacing. Most mod hubs are 110mm to accommodate for snail cams inside the frame. 116mm is standard bmx spacing or mod stock, and some versions of the echo 24 Edited June 8, 2015 by bing
Mark W
Monty's used to be 106mm, because Monty. Kings are generally 110mm spaced though as far as I'm aware as they're traditional BMX width rather than trials width. EDIT: Just had a look, regrettably, at the new 221 frame on TartyBikes and it seems they've gone with 116mm spacing for it.
AdamR28
The M5 is another non standard size, 105mm. The King was 110.
N.Wood
The M5 is another non standard size, 105mm. Was that intentional or was that just how they ended up?

I would love one though! If only I had a spare £2400 kicking around...
