Mark W
Back in January I headed over to Barcelona with Ali C to film a new video for Drop and Roll, and here it is: Thanks to all the guys at Drop and Roll for the help with the trip
Ben Swales
YES! Been waiting for this one. Be cool to see what Ali makes of Barca when he's not injured. Will edit when watched
Mark W
<excuse>He did manage to slightly injure himself on day 1 of this trip courtesy of some new, untried grips, but still got a fair bit done...</excuse>
Ben Swales
Lines from 2:35-2:50 and the stoppie lines near the beginning (particularly the bump-hop-stoppie-spin-nose-to-manual-360 at 0:35) were sweet. Stair ride to wallride improved my afternoon a lot too, and the ender was awesome! Edit: Ha. Classic Ali. Was that anything to do with the hippy jump fail and subsequent palm-plastering? Double-edit: Cool that you seemed to steer relatively clear of most of the well-known spots (or shoot them in an original way so as to make them look less familiar) and still found some really fun and cool stuff to ride. Nice job on the edit too Edited May 28, 2015 by Ben Swales
Dman
Really good as usual, filming, editing, song and riding all spot on, loved the stoppie lines and the gap to bench from the blue wooden things, the last skinny roll down was just lovely. Mark W
Thanks Karl Lines from 2:35-2:50 and the stoppie lines near the beginning (particularly the bump-hop-stoppie-spin-nose-to-manual-360 at 0:35) were sweet. Stair ride to wallride improved my afternoon a lot too, and the ender was awesome! Edit: Ha. Classic Ali. Was that anything to do with the hippy jump fail and subsequent palm-plastering? Nah - on the first day we went from our apartment down to the white wall spot in the park where he does the manual to gap to bench, then went down to the red bank stoppie spot. While we were there one of the callouses ripped off Ali's hands due to his new grips, and then it became a kind of deep-seated blister/cut kinda thing which meant Ali couldn't really pull up all that hard. Most days generally started with a load of superglue and plasters after that.

eskimo
Really enjoyable edit, top work from both of you. Loadsa cool lines, last one killer, or possibly not killer, depending on how you look at it I hasn't noticed it with previous videos so probably to do with the fact it was lots of lines in a short amount of time, some lines seemed opted for flow over control? Though that's probably my perception and preference so it doesn't really matter.
bikeperson45
That first stoppie line made me laugh, there's a point where it's just silly

jack1987
I don't know why but I really love the noise Ali's tyres make as he lands. Riding speaks for itself an absolute joy to watch.

monkeyseemonkeydo
On Pinkbike... Young Scotsman, Ali Clarkson finally had the chance to head out to Barcelona after a broken collarbone left him unable to ride last year. He hits up some incredible riding spots, showing off his talent and making up for lost time. Some nice PR for Mark, who I believe may be Belarusian, too- good work chaps! http://www.pinkbike.com/news/video-ali-clarkson-in-barcelona-2015.html Edit: Also missed the 'Street Trails' bit... Go PB!
Luke Rainbird
Since getting rid of the trials bike I can count on one hand the number of times I've really missed having it. The count just went up.Top work, gents.
