Woody3267
I'm new to all this and am looking to get into trials as I tried bmx and found it wasn't for me. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on a cheap but decent first bike(preferably below the £100 mark)?
isitafox
You're gonna struggle to find anything for under £100 but if you can raise your budget a bit you'll probably find a 2nd hand Onza http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=251948651016&alt=web
Woody3267
Alright thanks, what about best wheel size? I was thinking 20"
isitafox
I personally would say 20" is easier to pick the basics up on as they're so easy to chuck about, once you get the basics down you can either move on to a better spec'd 20" or experiment with different wheel sizes.
isitafox
Was gonna add the link to this the other day but couldn't find it so here it is, ideal starter bike! http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/190556-onza-t-vee-swappx-for-24-streety-bike/
OuchTheBiker
Mate my first Bike was the 2009 Onza comp I got second hand for 300 (off the self 800 and upgraded crank and brakes and rear hub) this would be a good bike for you but in your price range I would recommend a second had onza T-bird. littlekarlypilkboid
Same as above first bike was an 09 onza comp as well. Great starter bike. I then sold it to my mate who was new to trials and he is pogressing now but just upgrading the bike instead. You can pick up an onza t pro on gumtree for about £150 - also good starter bike to have. But yeah same as everyone is saying your prob want to stretch your budget a tad more.
