Jonnycressey
I'm wanting to change out my original square taper for an isis setup. Upon attempting to fit I realised the new BB would not tighten up. Original re fitted fine so threads are un damaged. Can someone guide me on a BB to run isis with front freewheel. Thanks
bing
Anything with a 128mm axle. Cheapy one, get a tensile off eBay, about £18 posted. If you want something a bit better, get a trialtech or a tryall. I would have thought it'll be a 68mm shell so it should just screw straight in. Bear in mind that the drive side is left hand thread, so don't try to force it in the normal threaded way, you'll knacker your frame up Edited April 26, 2015 by bing
AdamR28
This sounds like one of 'those' frames where the batch had an oversize / non standard bb thread... Onza had some custom BBs made to fit. There are no ISIS BBs available, you'll have to stick with square taper unfortunately.
