isitafox
700c forks, disc mount, 1" unthreaded steerer. Go!
bikeperson45
Yep, it's impossible. Vees are cheaper than custom forks...

bing
Oh yeah. It's early. Could you not get away with doing it that way though? It's that or get a disk mount welded on to a steel set
isitafox
Need to wait till the frame is back from the powder coaters and measure the headtube. Worst case scenario I'll have to run a threaded steerer!
forteh
I had an old standard sta bmx frame with a 1" head tube, I had 1 1/8" s&m pitchforks though. I got some rekka conversion cups that went from one size to the other, I doubt you can still get them but might be worth having a search for a converting headset. They were machined from stainless and designed to fit with a normal loose ball headset. edit: holy shit rekka cups are still available although not the converters it would seem. Bee worth speaking to custom riders to see if they have a contact for rekka who might be able to machine some for you perhaps http://www.customriders.com/prodshow.asp?prodid=2627&cat=0&parent=0 Edited April 18, 2015 by forteh
ZeroMatt
Might look daft on a roadie but here's some that are available in both alu and carbon. There are some more standard road/CX looking ones on Aliexpress as well.
isitafox
It's only to go on a bike I'm building for my wife so don't want to spend an obscene amount. Disc forks would be ideal as it would mean she could use the disc specific wheels off my CX bike when I get some new ones built up.
forteh
They're 26" though not 700c, I dunno if the wheel will fit.
ZeroMatt
A-C is 390 and crown to underside is 25 so should be able to fit at least a 700 x 42 tyre in there, could probably get a 29 x 2 to just clear.
