King C
How much you charging for drive shafts? I'll need a set one day so I'm just enquiring.
greg1040
It was my mate that bought the material so i wouldnt like to guess. I know its en24 and will probably need hardened after machining so would need to price up that also. Theres not much machining to them though bout an hour between turning and milling. Luke Rainbird
I get such a semi for nicely machined stuff. Makes me truly wet.

george_seamons
Is the tapped hole in the centre of the side? Looks offset...that might cause a problem
forteh
That's ok, it's easy to move holes, greg will just get another one out of his box of holes and slap it in there What did your issued drawing show?
Luke Rainbird
Angle of the photo, surely?
george_seamons
I'm hoping so, Luke Although in Greg's defense, there was no mention of where the hole should go

bing
What's the chances of somebody being able to cnc me one of these out of stainless steel? Alloy seems too weak, and the cnc jobs are £32 for something that seems weak anyway. It's the dropout off my gt force full suss mtb. I can include the broken one one for measurements, and it's a 9mm qr version
greg1040
Hey something like that would need offline programming for all the fancy curves which would first need to be drawn as a solid up in cad. I cant see you getting 1 of them for anywhere near £32 pounds between labour and material am afraid. Parts like that would need to be made in bulk to work out cheap.
