Mark W
With most sites posting up about it on the 2nd April I thought it may have had a chance of being real, especially as Hashtagg themselves didn't actually post it on the 1st (unless I just missed it somewhere). AdamR28
Everything in the trials world is late though... I actually like the concept. The problem with trials at the moment is that nobody is innovating. Yes, a suspension / rebound frame might not be the future, but if nobody had ever made a seatless bike, decided to put two sets of bends in a handlebar instead of one, or designed a 19" back wheel, where would we be now?
Ali C
why would you go for that suspension design? I would have thought a simple single pivot ideally around the bb so the chain length doesn't change would be better. As silly as a sus frame sounds I think it could be a potential good idea, certainly something that needs exploring even if it ends up being scrapped, if you don't try stuff then things get stagnant. Dam, Adam beat me to it
dngr2self
I'd agree that innovation is good even if it doesn't go anywhere. I can't see this taking off though because of how much they would probably cost.
stirlingpowers
Horizontal dropouts and variable chain length? Why?
HippY
Horizontal dropouts and variable chain length? Why? the BB and the rear triangle seem to be on the same piece, "only" the 2 headtubes will move, so the chainstay should stay the same? Scott Gibbs
By having the swingarm pivot around the BB like this wouldn't that give you a constant chain tension?
Topsy
the BB and the rear triangle seem to be on the same piece, "only" the 2 headtubes will move, so the chainstay should stay the same? Looks like that to me too. I'm not quite sure I want all those linkages on a trials frame though. I haven't had the best experiences with rear suspension linkages on my mountain bike..
