BJ.
Hi I've just won the above mentioned brake on eBay and I'll be needing a new set of pads. Which will be best to use? If anyone with previous experience can point me in the right direction that'll be great. I'll be running them on an inspired with 180mm rotors front and rear if that makes any difference. Cheers. John Shrewsbury
EBC RED PADS, everyone is mostly using these. I have a set for my shimano saint brakes and SLX brakes like yours that u have purchased, also they bed in very quicky. If u have a push pin which u bend the end to hold the pads in. I have replaced it with a threaded bolt and nylon nut, which u can pickup anywhere from a Engineer hardware store. It's so the pads don't wobble in the calipers. Its a gd cheat for those brakes. http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/EBC-Shimano-XTR-XT-SLX-LX-Saint-Disc-Pads-/110864058846 Edited March 29, 2015 by John Shrewsbury
Ali C
I found EBC red pads to have bit of a soft feel, they have power but not as good bite as a sintered pad, still a good option though but personally I really like fibrax/aztec sintered pads.
