BJ.
Bars and Stem turned up yesterday afternoon. Decided to go for Jitsie Bars because they had the highest rise over trialtech/inspired bars. I've also been trying to strip the paint but the paint stripper has been on 2 days and it won't budge managed to scrub for about an hour and got this far any tips?? Edited April 9, 2015 by BJ. BJ.
So after 6 days of scrubbing I got the frame down to silver. Decided it looked gash and went and bought some paint. Here's where we're at now: Edited April 9, 2015 by BJ.

BJ.
Remember to chase those BB threads since you didn't mask them. I've got a little wire brush that'll do the job nicely

Ross McArthur
I do like a chrome rim with a black spoke. Not a fan of the look of the Jitsie bars though.
BJ.
The real question: With your card? Surprisingly not! Not a fan of the look of the Jitsie bars though. Now you mention it, me either! Only bought these as they're the highest rise I could find :'( May have to try and remove the graphics and see what the look like then. If all fails I'll have to order a set of Inspireds.
Ross McArthur
Yea, buying a set of bars because they are the "highest you could find", is never going to end well. Live and learn.

Managed to strip the graphics from the bars. They look pretty cool now
Mark W
Graphics or not I'd have thought 12° of upsweep would feel pretty fruity for a lot of streety kind of moves. Going from 10° to 5° was pretty noticeable (and a nice change), so having that extra amount of sweep sounds like it'd be a bit OTT. If you're used to that style of bar though I guess that's kind of a moot point.
