monkeyseemonkeydo
Took the easy option and have signed up for a 10 year fixed deal with Nationwide at 3.24% over 15 years but will overpay to bring the term down to more like 10 years. £945 or so base price and will overpay to £1300pm. Edit: And just snuck in before they upped the rates today! Only by 0.1% but every little counts!
lankyri
650 a month on two bed house mid terrace in Basildon but I get help from council as I'm on a low wage and I'm the only earner in the house.
Wrayvon
Just bought a house, currently waiting for it all to go through etc but will be about 700 a month. It's a 3 bed semi with 2 garages and a large overgrown garden. Should be fun

monkeyseemonkeydo
Gah, story on the BBC site about people who took out interest only mortgages and 'didn't think about what they were getting into or paying back the loan'. f**kwits.
dann2707
Guys, I need a bit of advice and wondering what you all think. Just found a 5 person house share about 15 mins walk from where I work, it's semi ensuite so shower and sink but no toilet but there is one next door to the room. It's £85 a week for everything, bills, council tax, wifi etc and it's being completed in 2 weeks time. I'm currently spending around £70 a week in fuel as it is along with a 2 hour commute a day overall. The gym is 5 mins away too and that'll be £20 a month cheaper too as my mate works there and can get me in. Reckon I should go for it? They've got one room left in this house. Decent sized room and a mixture of students/young professionals in the house
MadManMike
Have you viewed it? Is it messy? A house share with that many people will most likely end in trouble, but as a short term thing it could be fun!
dann2707
I went yesterday yeah, it's still be furbished but he showed around the house next door he owns which was the same and its very modern. It's a 6 month contract so I guess if it's shit I won't be there for so long. Just gone for it
