Greetings
What's the solution to this? I know there are ways to stop this but forgot what they were. Tightening the bolts further is not an option as I've already exceeded the maximum torque stated by the manufacturer and since this is a CNC stem, it could snap if over tightened. TryAll carbon bars and Neon CNC stem with the one piece clamp.

This? http://www.finishlineusa.com/products/specialty-products/fiber-grip- I understand that by "carbon" they mean the gel coat CF is coated with and it doesn't have to interface directly with the weave? what is the stem? could it be that the stem has failed somehow? Doubt it, the stem is new.
N.Wood
Yep, you got it. A lot of MTB brands integrate a sand type material into the lacquer in the stem clamp area to help increase friction.

Ross McArthur
I find a good bit of copper slip on the clamp bolts eases the mind when tightening.. :arabia:
