BJ.
Hi, I'm building up a street bike but I'm trying to kept costs as low as possible. I'm just wondering if anyone has used MTs on a trials bike and could give me a quick review. I've found a set for £60 brand new.
LEON
Even with 203 rotors I found them pretty poor, front is passable but it's just not good enough on the back for trials. Some used hopes would be better.
BJ.
Cheers, thanks for clearing that up. I'll have to stop being a tight git and fork out for some saints.
bing
Get Shimano deore m615. More than enough power on big rotors. I run them on all my bikes. Brilliant brakes for the money and about a million times more reliable and solid than any magura brake part from a gustav m
Paperclip
I bought one to see if I liked disc/24 when I built up my project bike and I found with the performance pads it worked really well. It lasted 6-8 week's before the caliper gave way which is a common fault apparently was well under warranty. I wouldn't skimp out on brakes though you can save money here and there but in the end you'd only regret it. I see riders building cheap bikes up and never stop talking about which parts they are going to change.
Jakub1699
had mine on my inspired for about 2 months until they broke, the back on the carbotexture stuff started to crack on the lever body and the front hose went way to easily. they were alright when they were working, not worth it though.
