Mikee
I have some cannonade fatty forks with a steerer tube that is too short. The steerer tubes are just pressed and pinned in place aren't they? Can they be replaced very easily?
CurtisRider
Extend the current one, it is very easy to do. You just need a tube to fit inside the current steerer and some spare steerer from another fork. Drill holes in each piece of steerer and taper the ends being joined and plug weld them togther, then seam weld the joint carefully grinding/filing the excess weld away. I've done quite a few forks this way for people with no issues

I'm really quite keen to get these forks to a usable condition as they are getting pretty hard to come by these days.
CurtisRider
Unfortunately I can't find any at present, I seem to remember 1" steerer tube fitted inside most 1 1/8" steerer tubes quite nicely though.
