Scott Gibbs
Biggest problem is for some unknown reason the forks are coming out quite a bit lighter than the frame. We,ve remixed the paint twice now and it's still coming out lighter.
Pete.M
Powdercoated gloss black? That's exactly what I wanted to do to my Ashton. You could get some 24UK stickers made up as well.

Scott Gibbs
Yeah I know I saw your fourplay and because street with them. Once I'd seen it on an actual bike I wasn't as keen on it. (No offence intended!)

isitafox
To be fair I didn't actually order that colour out of choice, I got a really got deal on the price direct from Spank as it was the last set they had in the warehouse in America. Ross McArthur
Ben Travis is after a pair of silver rims if you want to sell these??
Scott Gibbs
That's the frame and forks, as you can see there's quite a difference in colour. Same colour and batch of paint but it still comes out different.
Scott Gibbs
A bit of a bump! So today was pretty slack at work so the 24UK got sprayed again today. It's been sat under my bench for a month so I decided today was the day. While I had the paint in the gun I blasted my Federal Lacey while I was at it. What do you think? BJ.
Would love to see the Lacey all built up with all black parts
Scott Gibbs
It's mainly black parts for the Lacey. Got a few purple bits for it

Heatsink
Hi Scott! Great to see a Heatsink 24Uk getting such a loving rebuild! I can supply a heatsink logo vector file if it's helpful in creating a sticker set for the frame, plus plenty of Heatsink standard size stickers are available for you too ) Regards, Steve
Scott Gibbs
Hey Steve, she's a completely unused frame when I took possession so I'll be the first to ride it. Unfortunately the build has stalled for now as I've relocated to The Wirral so until I'm working again it's on hiatus.
dngr2self
Its strange that the frame and forks wouldn't match up despite using the same batch of paint. Were they different colours to start with or did you prime them or base coat them or something?
Scott Gibbs
The Frame was white and the forks were black, they were both powdercoated. I scuffed them up and applied 2 coats of grey primer. The weirdest thing is the frame was darker
Scott Gibbs
Little update things are slowly starting to move forward now, headset and stem arrived this morning from Tartybikes. Very quick I must say after only ordering them yesterday! Bars and few other bits on they way now.
Paperclip
I have (as said on Facebook) a few spare bits kicking around I would let you have. Will when next in the garage take some photos and list out some stuff.

Scott Gibbs
A friend kindly donated an unused set of shimano brakes so I got myself a set of ice techs to go with them and my girlfriend bought me a brand new set of Tactics and purple ODI grips without me knowing! Coming together now. Now I need to decide on black or chrome rims.
