Tomas
I know there are different rules in different olrganizations if you are allowed to use your pedals and bashring/bashplate to get up obstacles. How about people not competing, do you think it is poor style to use anything but your tyres or is it ok?
Herbertlemon102
Whenever I ride street with others (every Sunday, more or less) we all hate using the bash in any way, smoothness is what we're aiming for . We see the bash as more of something to protect out freewheel rather than something to be used in getting up objects. My bash is flimsy anyway Id say try and land on the tyre / tyres all the time but if it slips use the bash and claim it still counts Edited January 15, 2015 by Herbertlemon102
ogre
bash is acceptable if your getting up something absolutely daft, but for street you should really be keeping things as uci as possible to avoid winding up joe public. as far as style goes it's very hard to use your bash in an elegant way. like herbert i see it as a way of protecting my drive train. bing
I have used my pedal in a comp, but only as a way to rest, not to actually grind my way up something
