HippY
oookay this thing is getting ridiculously hard to build I have the Neon 24" frame and I got some Echo Urban CNC cranks I put the left crank on, and it there is like a cm distance between the crank and the frame on driver side, the crank hitting a frame, like a mm too small distance. Is there any way where I can space out the BB/cranks the they move a tiny bit to the right?we are talking about 2mm I might even have a proper BB spacer
thinkdougie
BB spacer should do the job
J.KYDD
Got any bike shops that stock and service decent BMX's near to you? What you need are a couple of 19mm BMX axle spacers
HippY
BB spacer should do the job where should i put the bb spacer? driver side or no driver side if i want the whole stuff move towards driver side? Sadly no, they are servicing " normal bikes"
AdamR28
Spacer between the BB and the frame on the drive side, yep. Do not put spacers on the BB axle, it's tapered so by doing this you end up with loose cranks. Edit: This is assuming it's a 'normal' BB, where the main unit is one piece with the right hand cup. This will also mean the LH cup will likely disappear inside the frame a few mm, but that's fine.
thinkdougie
remove the bb slide it over onto the drive side and install as normal
HippY
yes, sorted! luckily I had this issue, because I had the wrench in hand, then realized the cups were not even tight...... now it is ready!
