murga
Is it possible to fit a Chris king bmx hub on a 24" frame guys?
isitafox
If it's a 116 rear end then I don't see why not
murga
What frame would you recommend?
niconj
What frame would you recommend? Depends on what type of trials you wanna ride.
murga
Wanting to get into street now. Just built a 20" mod but think I've out grown mods now wanting something bigger but not stock
Scott Gibbs
Most street frames have a 135mn rear end so a Chris King Bmx hub won't work unless you have a custom frame like a Marino built for you and you specify a 116mm back end. murga
Is there no frames out there with 116mm rear end? It seems a shame to have the hub sat there going to waste...
dngr2self
Could a King be modified to 135mm?
Scott Gibbs
I think one of the more "trialsy" 24" bikes has a 116mm back end. Not sure about the hub but changing the axle and freehub body might work. (If anybody knows for sure please correct me)
bing
My echo 24 has a 116mm back end. All the disk versions though are 135mm. A Chris king BMX hub will fit, as will a profile mini cassette. A hope pro 2 BMX hub will fit as well but gearing is the issue with those, it's either a 9t driver or a 15t bolt on sprocket Edited December 17, 2014 by bing
