Scott Gibbs
My friend has a mk1 inspired that he never rides and has said to make him an offer. The only thing it needs is 2 pawls replacing on the back and that's it. It's got Hope Pro2's Chris King headset, middleburn cranks, Thomson stem and Deity bars. What do you think is a fair price for it?
shercofray
I would say around £400-450.
dngr2self
£300.
LEON
Defintely don't offer him over 400, that bike was out in 2008/2009 and the geo is pretty bad compared to everything out there now. £300 is more than fair.

LEON
That green one is not a mk1 though, 2012 I think, much better geo, more desirable!
aener
Jesus guys... The frame might be old but it's hardly bad, and the hubs and cranks and headset alone would cost you nearing £300 second hand! You could probably batter him down to quite a low price what with how the second hand trials market works - but then you'd be robbing your friend, which in my books would make you a dick I'm with Frazer - £400-£450, assuming it has decentish brakes. waybe2014
Thought that was the case just gave them as examples. Also the one he's buying could be bashed up or mint
Scott Gibbs
As you can see its immaculate! It belongs to my mate Wes who used to be on here a few years ago.
LEON
It's not bad looking, was expecting a white shitter. It's worth whatever you wanna pay. On eBay i don't think it'd fetch 400 quid. I'd offer him 350 and see what he says.
Paperclip
I'm with Leon. It's stunning but really it's still only going to fetch £300-350 maybe more if he's lucky. If your local and a friend then him not getting an extra £50 isn't going to be the worlds end. Edited December 8, 2014 by Paperclip
