jnthebiker
Hey all. I am using a 2004 hs33 as my rear brake, and in the freezing weather of winter where I live it is getting a bit sluggish. Could I bleed this brake with antifreeze and not damage it? thanks, JN
Otacon
Just used the ready mixed water and antifreeze and then yeah you can, don't used pure anti-freeze.
jnthebiker
Ok thanks, so it comes ready mixed? If I can't get that, what ratio of antifreeze and water should I use?
LiamWood!
I'd say a dash of it will be fine or if your really cautious 50/50.
Mark W
I used just anti-freeze in mine with no problems for a pretty long time. You're only putting around 25ml of fluid into your brake at most so you're never likely to get a particularly accurate water/anti-freeze ratio either way. LEON
Same, I used pure anti freeze for years and never had a single problem, my only problems were when water was involved.

dann2707
I wouldn't even bother just incase you get pregnant and die.
jnthebiker
Thanks guys. I'll try just antifreeze. I understand there are different colors or something?
Aldred_85
Only for purposes of length of use in an engine. I believe blue is basic stuff, orange is long life, pink and purple are VAG spec stuff. For brakes i think anything will do.
Ross McArthur
i think anything will do. Not when you run clear Trial Tech hose, it wont!
Aldred_85
Not when you run clear Trial Tech hose, it wont! That was a huge oversight on my behalf.

MeleeFighter
You can run pure antifreeze, no need to mix it with water,
