isitafox
Not had chance to ride for a while so I've been tinkering instead and sorted new cranks, modded a bash and built some wheels up. New bits since the last pic are Trialtech SL cranks with a modded half bash and old style Echo SL rims on Tryall H rear and Echo TR front hubs. Hoping for a dry day this week so I can have an hour playing on it.
Paperclip
I might be the only one but to me that looks dreadful.

Herbertlemon102
I might be the only one but to me that looks dreadful. interesting, I really like how it looks! Can I hear the reasoning behind that opinion?
Paperclip
Combination of things like the general set up in my opinion, I mainly I dislike the colours. While black and red works really well in this case it just doesn't seem to work that good. Perhaps it looks better in the flesh. Simple things like not having red pedals or having black cranks, matching coloured lever body's and not having some random word on the down tube that you can't really read unless you already know what it says would finish it off. I prefered the bike Dave had when we rode last but he can't help himself but "tinker" Edited December 1, 2014 by Paperclip
niconj
It kinda looks like a 24'' bike.
isitafox
Had a play in the yard on it yesterday afternoon and can only say wow what a difference the rear wheel has made! Easily my best wheelbuild to date and feels solid. What makes me laugh though is the fact it's got a dead medium grind which I was tempted to redo as I was fitting some nearly new Heatsink Yellows but I decided to leave it and see what it was like and it is 100% better than my previous setup. Yellows and Familybikers neon green pads were shocking on the old Trialtech SL rim compared to this, pretty much the first time I've had a properly solid feeling rear brake since I had my Python about 3-4 years ago! Echo SL rims win for me!
bing
What's the geo measure at Dave? It looks really short
isitafox
Supposed to be 1090, 380, +55, 71º but I might measure it to confirm.
bing
Might be the camera angle that does it. Looks good though. I'd debadge it though, give it a clean look
isitafox
Would require stripping the anodising so that won't be happening anytime soon!
niconj
Yellows and Familybikers neon green pads were shocking on the old Trialtech SL rim +orange Trialtech pads (on my newer Trialtech SL rim). The Trialtech pads on an Echo TR were very good though. Edited December 5, 2014 by niconj
