DYAKOV
I'll be doing a bikes related project as one of my final year projects at university and was wondering if you could share any thoughts.. As I study interior design (do quite a lot of architectural modifications as well) it would be sort of a hub for bicycle related activities. After a quick research, I made a list of some usual features: - bikes cafe: usual beverages, toasts, etc.. organizes social events - workshop: provides: tools for fixing your own bike service by professional mechanics - classes: traffic safety bicycle maintenance confident cycling sustainability & healthy lifestyle - shop: selling recycled bikes as well as new bikes and parts, clothing, nutrition etc.. My particular work is to design a space, so some specific details about bikes are not required. However, designing a space is mainly based on its function. And in order to have an interesting design, I need to think of some innovative uses of such space. All above-mentioned seem too straightforward to me and was hoping if you could suggest anything exciting? Don't need a complete solution, of course, just keywords or basically anything that comes to your mind? Thanks a lot everyone!http://www.thebikestation.org.uk/http://www.siemprebicyclecafe.com/
DYAKOV
We are given a good range of possible buildings, so I can choose the one that fits best, depending on the design concept and scale of my project. Don't bother with that, please.
