craigjames
Did you ever complete it? I got to lvl 12 or 13, so hard. But that was i was young. Can't remember what version it was. Was the built in to the console. Nope, got to the same point. Seemed impossible to get any further! Yeah I had it built in on a Master System 2. Haven't bothered to buy a console since

There was a bit of a glitch where you could get the first one, reset the game then just keep doing the first level and get them all. ...Still never did Game Genie f t w! isitafox
Made me laugh how you can get all the emeralds on Sonic 2 before you finish the 2nd level. Super Sonic can be a pain in the arse though!
Brian Bleech
Duke nukem 3d. What a game. My first proper pc game that was I love Duke 3D fantastic game, with a warped sense of humour... Who actually collected all the Emeralds in Sonic? I have done on the Master System version, all the emerald and completed in under 30 mins. You've all seen http://www.ssega.com/ right? It's all about http://www.ssega.com/micro-machines-ii No!! That is my evening/weekend/life gone. Micro Machines TT 96 is the best in that series, 8 players on 4 controllers. Awesome!

Pashley26
Why are MacBooks so f**king annoying to do anything on. First time I've used OSX; I used to be pretty good with Mac's I'd say. This is literally like me using an actual rain mac to do actual computing things. Trying to get RetroArch installed and running on it; but OSX won't let you see your library without other software. What sort of fanny made this shit up? eskimo
If that's the one I think it is, I only ever had it on a demo disc. It was probably the first disc that came with the original PlayStation. Either way, I massively regret never getting the full game, because that demo was the absolute best 2 player games I've ever played. It was birds eye view and there was a woman speaker. That's about my best description Edited November 20, 2014 by eskimo
eskimo
Duke nukem 3d. What a game. My first proper pc game that was Can still play Duke 3d now, fair size community and a lot of work has been put into Duke 3d High Resolution pack. A few guys also did the music in stereo and/ or remixes. There's other work being done too. If we want to talk about difficult games then find me another person to complete Rainbow Islands fully with all the jewels in the right order. That shit nearly finished me off! I've still got FF7 on my PSP (everyone levelled up to 99 with full mastered materia) which I obviously didn't play at work..... In fact my PSP is awesome for emulators, just struggles when it comes to graphics on certain games like Clay Fighter and Stunt Race FX but that's cause of the lack of support with the emulators. Played a game called Dizzy on the spetrum at a friends when younger, pos game, takes about an hour to load (if it loaded), to die straight away. urgh. On FF7 i kinda went ott also and did 2 or 3 W-magics/ summons, 3 Master Magic/ Summons, 2 or 3+ on all the blue support materia, 3 master knights of the round etc etc. Though i never did the card collecting on FF9, should of done really, i won't die peacefully now. I have a Dungeons and Dragons game somewhere on a floppy. Somehow I got addicted to a y/n game when I was eight years old. 3.5mbs, get in. Luke Rainbird
Oi, Dizzy was awesome. I had three different Dizzy cames, on C64, all loaded from cassette and kicked ass.
JDâ„¢
I need to copy my PSX Bios from my Downloads folder into what would have previously been....Library/Application Support/PCSXReARMed/BIOSDIRECT/ You can still get into those folders, when you're in finder there's a option of 'go' in one of the menus - from there type it in and you'll get there. It's just a way of keeping the security up I guess. I'm not at a mac so I can't give you more info I'm afraid
Greetings
Never had a gaming console but the retro stuff I've been enjoying in the past year includes Raptor, Command and Conquer and that Comet game found on Windows 3.1. These bring back some nice memories. Also not sure this is retro but Deus Ex is probably worth mentioning.
JT!
Who actually collected all the Emeralds in Sonic? No f**king one. They were such a pain in the ass. There was a bit of a glitch where you could get the first one, reset the game then just keep doing the first level and get them all. ...Still never did Game Genie f t w! Which game? You can't do this in 1 or 2, but in 3 you could only after completing it. But that was intentional.

I wouldn't call deus ex retro, but then it's getting on for best part of 15 years old now Still a classic though, also from the era half life and rainbow six worthy of note Edited November 21, 2014 by forteh
