craigjames
Are they smooth or notched cams?
ginge
They were smooth cams but I have notched them with a grinder figured i have nothing to lose its not as bad but still moves
isitafox
Might be worth trying some axles washers with steel serrated teeth if you haven't already got some http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/other_hub_spares/monty_serrated_axle_bolt_washer/c596p12550.html
ginge
I've already got those on my bike as well I just don't get why it keeps moving?
ginge
I've also seen people put the cams on the outside of the frame and some on the inside.. Does it matter which way
weebryan
Make sure the axle is not butted up against axle washer when tightened(had to file a few axles down due to frame dropouts worn slightly) and echo steel notched cams worked for me at least on on drive side and smooth on other for better tuning of wheel centre
Alex@Flawless Bikes
As long as you are able to get the axel bolts tight the only other thing you might want to try is a snail cam with a more aggressive notch on them. Adding notches with a grinder will not offer much more grip then standard smooth cams. Check out our notched snail cams, there is no way they will slip. The notches have been designed to wrap around the cam bolt. Edited December 12, 2014 by isitafox Advertising link removed
