Wrayvon
Toying with the idea of getting some for the winter months. For my Lapierre Zesty 314 if it matters. Anyone use any/got any recommendations? Go!
Tom Booth
Front and rear of just front? Either way I use a muddy nuts Velcro on jobbo, weighs nothing, easy to fit and does a cracking job.
Wrayvon
Either, both, I'm not sure! The mucky nuts are front only right? Ever used or needed a rear? Thanks for the suggestion
Tom Booth
Sorry dude, yeah they're front. Never used a rear one myself, muck up the back never really bothers me as my gear gets washed after every ride.
Wrayvon
No that makes perfect sense, thanks. It is mainly mud in my face / eyes that is the problem! They seem pretty dam cheap those Nutz things. Can't go wrong for that price surely
isitafox
I had to zip tie a bottle cage on a bike I had in my teens as it didn't have bosses to fit one! Rode it like that for years and never struggled.

I normally use a camelbak but it would be nice not to have to everyone. Anyone ever used clips or zip tie type things to fasten a cage under the top tube? It's about the space I have for one. +1 for the Mucky Nutz. With the exception of copious amounts of mud they're all you need and look good to! How old is your Zesty btw? crilin202
You might want to do a bit of DIY? i made mine (front and rear) with a plastic folder (£1) and they look and perform exactly the same. http://www.sdjsports.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/M/N/MNBENFEN-WH_00.jpg Edited November 12, 2014 by crilin202
