dann2707
What limit shall we say? Don't want it to be too hectic. I want to start throwing a deposit down as soon as possible too so we know who are definitely serious about it
Luke Rainbird
No idea on limits, but no harm in a continued list of reserves. If people have to drop out for any reason it's nice and easy then

Pete.M
From googling "private hire curborough" and looking on the forums that come up it seems the limit could be either 12 or 15, hopefully 15!

konstant
I've been here twice before with some friends who organise sprint days. On the days they run, everyone does a route around the figure of eight which the fastest Clios complete in about 1:30 and and the fastest kit cars do in about 1:15, which involves going out of the gate clockwise around the figure of eight, and then switching direction half way through the second 'lap', finishing at the end of the main straight with loads of run off to the westerly end. Works really well in my opinion. Count me in! 1. Dann2707 2. Tarty Adam 3. Pashley26 4. MikeRotch 5. Azarathal 6. Rainbird 7. Curtisrider 8. Pete 9. Spunky 10. Greg1040 11. SamKidney (Possibly) 12. Pashley26
Figure of eight is fantastically gay. I will refuse to go if it is not run on the old B circuit layout.
AdamR28
Figure of 8 it is then
Pashley26
I might just turn up to watch. No figure of 8, I beg you. It just doesn't flow and feels horrific. Also can I request a sighting cone for the apex of the right hander after the straight.
konstant
We all preferred the new arrangement. You get a lap and a half of the old B layout (which I've also driven), then a final lap of figure of eight so you end up clockwise down the main straight. It makes things less monotonous and getting a clean run more challenging. One from September:
Pashley26
I'm NOT doing the figure of 8.
Prawny Baby
Why havn't any of your homos added me to this list yet?I've been busy.Figure of 8 loop is fairly shit. the circuit is laid out to flow a certain way, the kerbs and apexs don't really 'work' on the figure of 8, not to mention the increased chance of an off and not a huge amount of run off before trees when coming backwards past the mole hill. Simpson
Couple of questions: 1 - How does extensive experience on Forza relate to on track sucess? 2 - Will a 1 litre Yaris with a rusted exhaust be too loud for for a track? 3 - My tyres cost £30 per corner fitted - will these be sutible for a track day?
Pashley26
It's not bad to be fair. I know loads of track layouts just from playing Forza. No, it will be fine. The noise at Curby is my really an issue. £30 a corner tires sounds great fun. But how are the brakes?

You'll have the right general idea, but it's pretty different! 2) Yep, fine, and it'll be wicked fun. 3) Yeah, not a problem. THey won't get killed by such a short layout too. Brakes will be fine as well, there's only a couple of hard stops.

JD™
Banter! Can we have like a 'reserves' list for people like me who'd like to, but have no idea whether my car will be in any sort of fit state, nor my time.
