bing
It appears shimano have reworked the lever design, there are now two styles of lever, the normal stubby version of the last few years, and this new 'trekking' version, with a 3 finger blade. Looks decent, and it comes in a wallet friendly Deore version. This is the XT version Link http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-xt-t785-trekking-disc-brake/rp-prod119964 I'd have bought one of these if they'd have been out when I bought my m615, the new one is designated t615
niconj
Well, as far as I know it came out in 2012. You could buy only the lever and match it to your caliper. Edited October 10, 2014 by niconj
Ali C
just a warning that these levers don't have a servo wave system like the usual ones do, They should still have good power due to the extra length but the servo wave on normal brakes does ramp up....I'm sure someone could work out which is more powerful but until then it's a bit of a gamble.
FamilyBiker
the short ones are by far more powerful, and the trekking levers also have some kind of "tektro" pressure point to them.
