Emu4twenty
Hi all. I have recently purchased an old onza t-bird frame, i think its about 2005. I started buying bits and bobs off ebay for it. I nearly have everything for it now but a couple of things have me stumped; 1) what headset is it? I bought a standard bmx/mtb 1-1/8 headset and now the frames arrived and it wont fit, the frame has the headset "cups" built in, so i thaught "sound, just use the headset without the cups" but the bearings are too small to fit the frame. Does anyone know what headset il need? 2) seat clamp? It basicaly has a hole, now ive seen An internal clamp made by monty bikes but not an onza one, will the monty clamp bolt thing work? Is it the same size? Ive tryed googling and also searching on this forum but i cant find anything. Thanks guys Tom Edited October 3, 2014 by Emu4twenty
bing
1. It's an internal headset, meaning the the cups are pressed flush into the frame. Also known as a zero stack. See here http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/internal_headsets/obp_sealed_internal_headset/c88p12432.html 2. Don't bother with the seat, it'll get in the way
