butterman
Im posting here because for some strange reason I cant post on the beginners chat. If someone can help me out with that I will really appreciate it. I want some advice. Im getting a brakeless first generation HEX almost new for $500 USD. Good deal or not? Also, someone offered me a scratched 26' echo GU 2014 for $600 USD but I have to say I like street more but the shipping would cost the double... What do you think? aener
I'd be pretty excited at getting that for that price! A lot of it is quite "ordinary", but that should be a really decent, solid build. The only exception might be the rear hub as we can't tell what it is from that picture. If it's a Hope then I'd jump on that asap, before he sells it to someone else If it's not a decent rear hub, replacing that and the cranks will leave you with a fantastic bike for a really good price. waybe2014
Still good price but take into account cost of brakes
isitafox
Brakes cost nothing, rear magura can be had 2nd hand over here for £35 and a front disc for not much more. A basic Hex for pretty much £300 is a bargain to be had!
Clerictgm mk2
If it's on HOPE rear hub only frame+fork+hub costs 500USD in "almost new" condition.
