Jake.
I've used a fair different bunch of helmets over the years. Stuck with giro for mtb and tsg for pisspots. What do you guys run? I used to use a girl hex but now a tsg superlight. Looking at a met terra now.
ZArgrave
I've got the met terra just cause it was going cheap at the time and they come with a nice light in the adjuster strap which is a bonus hah Descent enough helmet though

Jake.
Yeah Josh I really don't think they provide enough protection at all, better than nothing though. The only thing beginning to frustrate me about the tsg is lack of adjustment.

BJ.
I'm using a Lazer BMX style lid atm, it's really comfortable but is scarily light weight.
John Shrewsbury
Yeh we sell the Lazer Armor bmx style helmets in are shop now. Very lightweight and great bunch of colours. Also the Mtb Lazer ultrax is another popular one to look into fitted with a rearlight in the back. But if you didn't want that then go for its sister version The Lazer Oasis which is very much the same but has a Gopro or light fitting. I still run a Black Bucky Protec helmet shipped over from Empirebmx. Edited September 23, 2014 by John Shrewsbury

isitafox
I've just been using a 661 dirt lid for everything, only downside is it gets really hot. Want to find something that will do the job for trials, mtb and road really so I don't have loads of helmets knocking about the house (mine+kids+motorbike=no room for more!). I do really like the look of the Lazer Armour one with it being quite small, might pick one up if my 661 ever dies!
Herbertlemon102
Vans/protec lid for me. As above, it gets flippin hot, but is also damn comfortable Edited September 23, 2014 by Herbertlemon102
CC12345678910
Want to find something that will do the job for trials, mtb and road I've a Giro Section in white - colour picked on how cool (temperature - not how good it looked) it would be in direct sunlight. I use it on all me bikes except the hack. It's so light/comfy with so little encroaching into my eyeline it feels like I'm wearing a beanie. I think it would be perfect for your requirements . Hadn't actually thought about this. Would wearing a white lid really make a difference?!
isitafox
Reflects the sunlight/heat (to a degree anyway)
CC12345678910
Yeah the matt black bell faction i had before could of been used as a frying pan. Not fun when riding in temps >20deg. When you keep ur hair as metal as i tend to do it all helps.
