dann2707
What's changed? Yeah man, well back in the day I believe everyone used tar because the variety of brake pads was pretty much nill. Now there's loads to choose from I'd say tar is pretty redundant? Just my opinion though mate what you reckonnnnn
Jamie_Trials
well jamie moxon was trying it when i was in leeds and he put it on and his brake turned shit! then put some tar on and was a lot better. it was that bad he thought people were joking when they told him to apply it!! True story, I don't know if I got the wrong stuff or what. It was like trying to apply glass to my rim haha. Does anyone have a link to some decent stuff? Jake.
Yeah man, well back in the day I believe everyone used tar because the variety of brake pads was pretty much nill. I've never liked to depend on tar itself, like I try to get the best brake possible without it but sometimes when it's not doing that little bit extra I want- I put some on or a bit of monty brake spray and it makes a huge difference. I don't ever grind my wheels though so that's probably why...
Greetings
So, is this to be used on a ground rim, smooth or either? Very interested in giving it a try. Thanks It'll work better on a smooth rim but works on ground rims as well.
