Scott Gibbs
I've got a set of Tensile Ultimate cranks with the 22t bashring like this I want to take it off to run a 18t sprocket. The problem is it's stuck on like a b*****d! What is the best way of removing it without destroying it or the crank threads?
AdamR28
Put the chainring back on, then same way you'd remove a screw on sprocket.
Scott Gibbs
Got it off at work today so it's all good
Scott Gibbs
Put the chainring back on, then same way you'd remove a screw on sprocket. Got a question Adam, the cranks have 12mm of thread is this enough for a bashring and freewheel? isitafox
Says on Tarty Please note that the minimum required thread contact between crank arm and sprocket/freewheel is 7mm So assuming you use a bashring no thicker than 5mm you should be good
