Mark W
Cap had a home-made hub like that that he ran for a reasonable amount of time.
weirdoku
What happened to it?
Mark W
Essentially, Cap happened to it. I think he started to make an improved version with different bearings, but they were trying to go with an even fancier axle. Then he started going from disc to rim brake and it got lost in the mists of time... EDIT: Just read back through the thread. This was actually the upgraded one (carbon axle, ACBs). The original one had an alloy axle and he ran that for 6 months. I think there was some issue with the bearing seats on this one after a while, and that's when the whole project fizzled out.
